I'm interested in supervising PhDs on health communication topics in English (or with an English-language component), especially where these focus on terminology, linguistic reform, clinical discourse, patient experience, and/or reproductive or sexual health. More broadly, I am interested in PhD enquiries using CADS or other corpus-assisted methodologies, mixed-methods research drawing on anthropological linguistic frameworks, and ecolinguistics. I am not a TESOL specialist and cannot accommodate requests to supervise PhDs in second language acquisition unless they specifically intersect with any of my research interests.
